We’ve been loving the broccoletti from Grown for Taste – it’s been a bit hit with the restaurants we supply too! This week’s broccoletti is actually a purple variety; whilst it tends to lose its colour when cooked “wet” (either steaming or boiling), roasting or grilling instead will keep the colour and as an added bonus adds extra delicious flavours as well. This treatment works equally well with the standard broccoli included in some boxes from Premium Fresh as well this week – even try just cutting the whole head in half and roasting/grilling, then couple with a zingy yoghurt or citrus-based dressing!
