It’s hard to believe that just a month ago we were packing pumpkin, cauliflower, apples, pears and celeriac in boxes – this week, along with the first asparagus of the season, we’ve also got eggplant, strawberries, capsicum, new season pink eyes and spring garlic! We’ve even included some certified organic goodies this week – quinoa, in $30 boxes, is grown by Kindred Organics in the fertile north-west agricultural region of Tasmania and is a great basis for a grain salad (especially paired with the fresh parsley and cherry tomatoes); and $30 and $40 boxes both have a selection of lovely salad greens from York Town Organics.
