December in Tasmania sees the beginning of the summer fruit season – cherries are generally first cab off the rank, followed by early raspberries, and then around Christmas we’ll have blueberries and peaches. (Nectarines, plums and apricots tend to come a little later). Loose carrots and a variety of new season potatoes also begin harvest later in the month, and fingers crossed we might also see some fresh podding peas!
For December only we’re also offering some special Christmas bakery items:
- pain au chocolate, raspberry pain au chocolate and seasonal fruit danishes (all $4) from Imago Bakery & Patisserie
- Christmas pudding ($21.5), Christmas Cake ($19.5) and Pavlova bases ($9) from RT Fish Bakery
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to order for December or for any enquiries, and we’ll get back to you soon!
