If you’re ordering for the first time or you’re changing your delivery/pick-up status you’ll need to specify which of these two options you’d prefer when ordering, along with any items you’d like excluded. New and existing customers are also welcome to order a single box to try the service first, and as an added incentive, delivery (normally $5 or $6 extra depending upon area) is free with your first box. Delivery is available in a wide range of areas, and we also offer third-party delivery to locations in the Huon and the east coast.
October is a time of transition in the seasonal eating calendar in Tasmania – warmer weather crops will begin to become available (although not in plenty) while colder weather crops will wind up for the season. We may see some asparagus towards the end of the month, and hothouse tomatoes and capsicum will be a harbinger of summer; meanwhile Brussels sprouts are finished, and stored autumn crops like pumpkin, apples and pears will begin to run out. Strawberries probably won’t make an appearance until November, at the same time as asparagus will be a weekly inclusion during its short season.
This month we sadly say goodbye to two of our Tasmanian add-on suppliers – Philadelphia Bakers and King Bee Honey. We’ll be looking for replacement options – we’ll publish info on our website and social media when this is all sorted.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to order for October or for any enquiries, and we’ll get back to you soon!
