All-Tasmanian wholesale offers – 19th September

The sun is coming out and as a result we’re finally able to start increasing our range of fresh Tassie produce!

This week we’re very excited to be able to offer the first fresh garlic of the season. This comes from Old School Farm in Preston, who are a partner in the Tasmanian Garlic Company – at this stage of the season the garlic looks basically like a spring onion and is able to be used in entirety. As they get bigger we’ll offer them as single bulbs (with greens) but currently they’re available as bunches; if you’d prefer to order by the kg let me know, just waiting on a per kg price but it should be effectively the same or better than the bunched prices quoted in this week’s list.

In addition to snow peas, Richmond Farm this week have purple sprouting broccoli available (pictured). We’re also ordering with Hills Hydroponics – who have a heap of herbs available this week after a quiet few months – Southern Fields (caulis and cos lettuce), and OE Hansen and son (pears). This may be the last pears of the season, and please order these by about 2 pm TODAY!

Brandsema are really ahead of schedule – this week not only are the sweet solanato-style angel cherry tomatoes available, but red and yellow capsicum and large vine-ripened tomatoes are also available!

Premium Fresh have rhubarb available again, along with the other root veg lines and also Brussels sprouts – this will definitely be the last week for these, so get them while you can. Premium Fresh orders need to be in TODAY also.
