Orders for our all-Tasmanian fruit and veg boxes are now open for August! To place an order, just let us know by email what box type and optional add-ons you’d like on each of the following dates.
2nd August- 9th August
- 16th August
- 23rd August
- 30th August
If you’re ordering for the first time or you’re changing your delivery/pick-up status you’ll need to specify which of these two options you’d prefer when ordering, along with any items you’d like excluded. New and existing customers are also welcome to order a single box to try the service first, and as an added incentive, delivery (normally $5 extra) is free with your first box. Delivery is available in a wide range of areas, and we also offer third-party delivery to locations in the Huon and the east coast.
In August we say goodbye to a few more autumn veg – loose carrots and wombok are now finished for this season – and from now until things warm back up again in November we’ll probably include grains such as quinoa and spelt occasionally, plus other winter keepers like nuts and pumpkin. Expect a slightly narrower range of produce – all the more reason to get creative with what is available, especially with our second annual Hunger Gap Games competition just around the corner…
We’ll have Avoland avocados for a couple more weeks; please note also that Philadelphia Bakers are taking a break over August so we won’t be able to supply their stoneground sourdough, croissants or baguettes.
