We’ve got a bumper list this week… we’re excited to be able to offer Tassie-grown Wombok from Dendra Market Gardens at $22.5 for eight this week; please note that these are BIG, perfect for making an in-house batch of kimchi. From this week we’re also putting Tassie citrus on the list – please note that how this will work is that all options (lemons, limes, cumquats, grapefruit) will be on the list every week, and we’ll contact our network of home-growers to fill any orders we receive. This system is a work in progress, but we’ll do our best to make sure you’re able to get what you’ve asked for, hopefully within the week. However, there may be weeks where supply doesn’t meet demand.
Brown and red onions are back on the list again this week – we’re getting fresh stock of these in, as well as both hazelnuts and walnuts. John’s rainbow of potatoes are still available, along with Nicky’s Russets, which apparently are performing very well in the fryolators of Hobart! Kylie’s delicious Mt Lloyd swede are on the menu, and we’re also taking orders this week for parsnips for next week – please note that we need a week’s lead-in time for these, so orders placed this week will be received on the 21st. (We can sometimes sneak in late orders on the Monday directly prior, but this is not a wise option…)
